Penry Photography is the wedding photography of Peter Evers LIPPA. A native of Dublin, Peter has been a successful fashion and advertising photographer for 13 years. His work has been widely published over the years, both in Ireland and internationally. After being asked to photograph some model and ad agency friends’ weddings in 2000 with exceptional results, Peter officially launched his wedding photography business in 2001. His affable nature and ability to put people at ease has gifted Peter with a special talent for wedding photography. “What a great job – I get to photograph love and happiness all day long!” A testament to his skills, Peter has become the photographer of choice for other photographers’ weddings. Peter runs Penry Photography with his wife Susie who is also a trained photographer.

Our Service

It is important to Peter that being photographed on your wedding day is easy and enjoyable for you. He unobtrusively captures your day to produce vibrant, natural photographs. He brings an assistant along so that he is free to keep shooting while the assistant takes care of everything else. You choose where and when you would like the coverage to start – either with the bride during preparations or at the ceremony venue. Coverage ends just before the meal, usually with a portrait of the newlyweds cutting the cake. Peter favours reportage (photojournalistic / “fly on the wall”) coverage, together with a small amount of informal portraiture. His reportage is true reportage – nothing is staged. He captures real moments. It is important to do some portraits on your wedding day to have a record of family groups etc. together in their finery. And of course these photographs become more important with time. We have a list of portrait shots for you to choose from. Peter takes these either at the church, the reception venue or at another suitable location. He is quick and efficient with his portraiture while still producing creative, beautiful portraits in an informal style. After the wedding, you will receive a read only CD-Rom containing proofs of all images taken on the day. Each image will be numbered. You simply give us a list of the image numbers you wish to choose for your album, book or disk.

We have a great selection of albums, books and disk options to suit a wide range of budgets. You’ll find that we are very competitively priced for the high standard of wedding photography provided. Please contact us for a detailed price list. The booking deposit is €300 to secure your date with us. The balance of the fee is due 21 days before your wedding day. Once you have made a booking with us, you need do nothing else until we contact you in the weeks before your wedding day. At that stage we will go through your itinerary, discuss times, locations and preference etc. so that everything is in order for us to create beautiful photographs of your day. Peter is fully insured and a member of the Irish Professional Photographers Association. He is available nationwide.
